Another great project. As you know I like it to join good collabprojects and this is a really good one. “uberkraaft and Lesley Barnes are helping Colonel Windpipe to build a ramshackle band of unlikely characters as a collaborative print/project. But once this is completed we’ll be looking for people to submit their own characters to join the worlds most colourful, magical marching band ….” I couldn’t resist and created Marching Tom. In this article I’d like to present some elements making a character cute and lovable and to support you in achieving your goals. First, I talk about why something is regarded as cute. Afterwards I’d like to offer an overall view on cute proportions and as a conclusion consider general rules and tips.
